For whatever the reason I have begun having night terrors. I wake up in a sweat feeling as though there is something there and seeing nothing. I get so afraid that I won't even go to the bathroom which is only about 10 steps outside the bedroom door. I started with dreams that I couldn't actually remember but having a feeling of dread and fear when I woke up. The only part of the last dream I had, that is still in my memory was a small child being shot to death.... I don't know alot about this subject but I am going to research "Dreams and Night Terrors" if you have any info please leave it for me.

Lynn, there is a procedure you can learn to use. I do this, it didn't take long for me to condition myself either. It is called dream walking. You actually make yourself conscience in your dream. You can learn to remind yourself it is just that, a dream. You can also train yourself to change the dream by using a weapon against an attacker, monster, or person. After you get better at the dream walking you can totally change the dream while your still dreaming. I think i have some info i could look up for you if your interested. I actually took a class on this.
