QUESTION: if someone records for/with you and recieves a message from a loved one does this evp belong to the person who records , the person the message was for or both? and if it belongs to the person that records does the person that it was recorded for have the rights or the privaledge to use however she/he sees fit ?

I think this is a very sensitive subject, I think that if you are recording EVPs at a location, on an investigation, then they are the person who recorded them, if however you are recording at a private location say for instance someone's house, and it is a loved one of theirs you may have caught, I think its curtesy to ask the private owner if you may have the EVP and keep it, and possible use it, I think discretion is the key word
