Ive seen all the awards this board/site has been getting. WOW! It's fun to look at all the different graphics. Im wondering what are the qualifications to receiving an award? Are there special things the sites look for before they consider and grant an award? I hope this isn't posted somewhere else. If it is just lead me too it. Thanks~Steph

Things that are looked for are originality, ease of navigation, content, quick loading pages and always giving credit for information and art or graphic use. Some of the things I found that were frowned upon were things like music, flashing or motion graphics and not giving credits. But there are alot of other things that I have not mentioned. Motion graphics and music sometimes slow down page loading and music sometimes can be overbearing, in most of the places I go to Blog they want you to make sure there is a way to turn background sound off. I think though it depends on the person who views your pages and what they like or don't like. We are fortunate to be connected with lots of good people that have supplied graphics and information. I appreciate all of them.

I never can stand the music or noise. I cant even stand the my spaces with the music. I usually turn speakers off. Anything that blinks freaks my eyesite out. I hate the boards with all the cheesey avatars it looks like a carnival in a box!

I hate when the board is so full of background wallpaper it takes forever to download. I have zero patience. I really can not stand bright colors either. How do you find the awards for this site? I would like to look at them.
