It has come to our attention that someone has been trying to access administrative areas and other members accounts. Fortunately the board is smart enough to shut down access as are the web pages.
We for the protection of our site and our group have obtained a legal advisor. If the parties which have tried this are caught we will pursue the issue. It is illegal to hack into someone elses private boards and information.
It still amazes me that people believe that they can make attempts to corrupt sites and forums and maintain that they are in the right. It is a privacy issue just like email, message archives and hard copy mail and it is a Federal offense to make these things public or to tamper with them. I am still in awe that there is a program which allows you to see who is online with messengers even though people have chosen to remain invisable to maintain their privacy. As I understand this is being looked into. However I do not use messenger any longer and my emails are at a minimum.

Someone huh? Same thing happened to me. Media Com confirmed it. You can call them and your lawyer can get the isp number of the person commiting the crime. The wont give the number to you unless you have a lawsuit pending. Good Luck!

I had a friend that had his email hacked. I believe it was yahoo. The person was sending false emails out to people and getting into his accounts. Why dont people leave others business alone?
